Free should mean usable
A lot of free plans are demos that break the moment you need them. Here is exactly what a free ProgramSlate team includes, what the paid plans add, and who pays for what, without the pricing page spin.

Most coaches have tried a free plan that turned out to be a trial in disguise. It worked until the third week, then everything useful needed an upgrade.
We wanted ours to be a real way to run a team. Here is exactly what it includes, and what it does not.
What a free team includes
One team, run by its head coach, with:
- Practice plans. Timed periods, position groups, and the plan and countdown in your hand with Run practice.
- The drill library and starter catalog for your sport.
- The roster and groups.
- Equipment inventory.
- The schedule, with a calendar subscription families add to their phones.
- RSVPs and attendance.
- The team board, direct messages and sign-up sheets.
- Email notifications for schedule changes and posts.
- Game stat logging and recaps.
- Offline mode.
- Every assistant and family, free.
Free teams outside a school or club may see a small card labeled "Sponsored" on a few screens. Sponsors never receive anything about who saw it.
What the Coach plan adds
The Coach plan is paid by the head coach and covers every team they head-coach.
- Game plans, depth charts and varsity and JV lineups.
- Season analytics: leaders, trends and athlete stats.
- Strength programs, with a Workouts tab for families.
- More than one head-coached team.
- No sponsor cards.
You can try it free for 14 days, and cancel before the trial ends without being charged.
What the Organization plan adds
The Organization plan is for schools, clubs and recreation departments, and covers every team in the organization with every Coach tool. Directors get a view of every schedule, roster and staff, season setup that builds a year's teams in one step, announcements to every team or one program, and program-wide stats and attendance. Rollover into next season is part of it.
Who never pays
Assistant coaches and families. On every plan.
If you stop paying
If a team drops from a paid plan back to free, nothing is deleted. Content from paid features, like an old depth chart or strength program, stays readable. You just cannot create new ones until the team is back on a paid plan.
That is the whole picture. The pricing page has the same information, with the buttons.
