Version draft-2026-10-15
You can delete your ProgramSlate account and the data tied to it at any time. It works the same on the website and in the iPhone, iPad and Android apps.
In the app or on the website
- Sign in on the website, or open the app.
- Open My Account (from the menu, or More on a phone).
- Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account…
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
If you are a team's head coach or an organization's only director, the app first asks you to hand that role to someone else, so the team isn't left without anyone in charge.
If you can't sign in
Email programslate@gmail.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my ProgramSlate account". We confirm it's you by replying to that address, then delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done. Please don't include athletes' details in the email.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in, email address, name and profile photo.
- The kids you added, and their links to your teams.
- Your team memberships and organization roles.
- Your posts, comments, reactions, direct messages you sent, announcements, invitations you sent, notification settings, calendar links, blocks and usage events.
- A team you own that no other coach has joined, with its roster, schedule and posts. The app lists those teams before you confirm.
What is kept
- Team records you helped create, such as schedule events and game stats, stay with the team without your name attached.
- Reports you sent about other people's posts stay with the people who review them, without your account attached. Closed reports are deleted 12 months after they're closed.
- Our database backups may hold deleted data for a short time until they expire. [Backup retention period to be confirmed.]
Deleting some data without deleting your account
- Delete any post, comment or direct message you wrote from where it appears.
- Remove a kid from My Kids.
- Ask a team's head coach to remove you from the team, or to remove your athlete from the roster. Or email us and we'll help.
You can also download a copy of your data from My Account before deleting anything. See the privacy notice for more.
